The Contact 9.8 from Petzl comes with you out or in the hall and is easy to handle thanks to the thermal finishing when belaying and binding. The sheath is abrasion resistant and grippy and will survive rock contact. However, the Contact does not like damp weather so much, as it is not water and dirt repellent impregnated. It can be used with all commercially available belay devices, has a marked center and is ready for use immediately after unpacking thanks to ClimbReady.
