The Zero G Tour Pro from Tecnica is an overlap construction. This offers a high mass of downhill performance. The disadvantage of this construction is usually the limited shaft rotation. However, thanks to a very low-cut shell (lower boot) and large cut-outs in the shaft, Tecnica has succeeded in allowing the shaft to rotate 55 degrees.

The unique "double blocking mobility cuff", which blocks the shaft at two points in the vertical at the same time, contributes to this large shaft rotation as well as additional stability. Tecnica gives the resulting flex as 130, i.e. hard.

And all this at just 1320 grams makes the boot light-footed on the ascent.

The Zero G Tour Pro is so ergonomically shaped that the boot doesn't feel tight at all, even though it is built on a 99 millimeter last. What's more, the shell expands very well thanks to the partially perforated surfaces.

The 130 flex sounds stiff and rigid. But the shoe is anything but that. It has a very pleasant progressive flex (soft at first, then harder and harder), which may not quite be 130, but is certainly stiff enough for the vast majority of riders.

Tecnica achieves the low weight by consistently optimizing the materials. The thin injection-molded Grilamid, the relatively thin liner and the magnesium buckles with wire loops.

The Zero G Tour Pro is aimed at a wide range of riders thanks to its low weight and super performance. If the boot suits you, you're pretty sure you're not doing anything wrong.
